Thomas E Thorsheim's Groups
Group Coaching for Business Leaders/Executives
This is a long-term coaching group for executives and business leaders. The same strict requirements of privacy and confidentiality apply to this coaching group as to my therapy groups. Goals include enhancing resilience and stress management, improving self-care, developing emotional intelligence, navigating promotions, leadership development, and increasing skills in collaboration and conflict resolution. The group is designed to support the unique needs and demands of leaders, and the challenges these create both at home and work.
Couples Enrichment Group
This group is designed for couples and involves intensive, long-term work with other couples in an interpersonal group format. Membership is for those who share the common goals of enhancing their marital satisfaction, developing skills at conflict resolution, cultivating emotional awareness, and promotion of self-care. Couples will bring their personal, marital, and family challenges to the group to work on together. This group is open to those who are married or in long-term, committed relationships, and is affirming of LGBTQ couples.
Training Group for Coaches and Therapists
Whether you are just 3-4 years into practice development, or a seasoned provider, this group is about supporting your whole being both as an individual and as an important change agent and facilitator in the lives of your clients. It is about enhancing your skills as an individual coach, therapist, or group leader, and supporting you in "walking your talk" in life. This is an open-ended, long-term group that explores clinical concepts including transference and counter-transference, counter-transference resistance, overcoming your barriers to practice development, and helping you identify and magnify your unique gifts.
