I have spent the last several decades here in Austin working in direct service, mostly in residential settings and primarily with youth ageing out of the foster care system. I work best with people who are navigating challenges and working to improve overall functioning. I tend to take a holistic approach- I want to learn who you are, all aspects of where you are, and most importantly, where you want to go.
I provide primarily brief, strengths based, solution focused therapy to individuals, couples and families with a focus on teenagers and transition aged youth. I am inclined to quickly identify the challenge, explore the origins of that challenge as necessary and move to a strategy to overcome that challenge.
I take a small amount of clients, but I do currently have openings. I offer a 15 minute consultation phone call to see if we are the best fit before scheduling a appointment.
