I enjoy my work as a psychologist and the relationships that I establish with people. Over 30 years as a counselor and psychologist in a variety of settings and my experience with a wide range of individuals has informed my practice. Each person brings unique strengths to therapy that I seek to harness to help them improve in functioning, happiness, and growth. Psychodynamically trained, I like to combine insight with practical, concrete suggestions to allow people to make the changes they want to reach their goals. I am an active therapist who provides frank feedback and a cognitive behavioral focus.
Most psychologists work with many types of issues. I like the variety that a general practice provides. I work with adults, couples, and seniors. Most common issues are depression, anxiety, life stress, and relationship problems. Call me to discuss what my approach would be for you.
I am currently seeing clients via teletherapy only. Most of the people I have been working with have found that it makes scheduling and attending appointments easier, with less time out from their busy schedules.
