Every person’s story is different, even concerns that sound similar on paper—like anxiety or depression—can show up in very different ways depending on your history, relationships, identity, and current stressors. We’ll work collaboratively to understand what you’re experiencing and what you want to be different, then shape an approach that fits you. My work integrates evidence-informed perspectives, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and Gottman Method couples therapy. Together, we can explore patterns and build practical coping skills so you can move forward with greater clarity.
I have provided professional counseling services since 2006. I work with individual adults and couples. Informed by my work as a professor, I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, grief and loss, self-esteem, and gender identity and sexuality issues, including clients who identify as LGBT.
