Having practiced for more than 40 years in NYC, and now in White Plains, NY and Stamford, CT, I work primarily with patients suffering from panic attacks and/or other anxiety disorders and depression. These are highly treatable conditions and I see fairly rapid progress. I also teach assertiveness and communication skills to enhance relationships. Being successfully married for 47 years, I bring a wealth of personal experience to couples counseling. Therapy is centered on giving people the tools they need to move on and enjoy their lives. I prefer face to face sessions, but also do phone sessions and/or video sessions when needed.

I work with young children ages 2-16 and their families using Creative Play Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy. The areas in which I have worked extensively with children have been Anxiety, Performance Anixiety, Depression, Attention Deficit, Transitional Difficulties, Social Skills, Divorce, Loss, Separation, Anger Managerment and Learning challenges. I conduct individual, family, parent guidance/coparenting and group psychotherapy. I run Divorce, Loss and Social Skills groups for children ages 6-10.
