You are a human being living in this world, which means you are facing challenges! You may be a first responder and/or veteran looking to navigate critical incident stress, strained relationships, or risky behaviors. Or you might be a college student trying to identify your path. Maybe you're a parent trying to break generational patterns. Regardless, you are looking to become the best version of yourself and are motivated to implement treatment strategies outside of our sessions, and I am right there with you!
I often use fitness, animal training, or parenting references to help you make sense of things. Formal approaches include Cognitive Processing Therapy, CBT-Insomnia, Prolonged Exposure or EMDR with influences from other evidence-based approaches. I am well versed in treating first responder trauma, as well as civilian trauma. I love seeing the progress!
Growing up in NYC, I have the dark humor and sarcastic wit to come alongside first responders/veterans without missing a beat. I have a toddler and a big, floofy dog who may make an appearance on rare occasion. I love swimming, reading, lifting weights, BJJ, "art stuff", and learning how to relax. I'll get you squared away...because things go sideways.
