As a Marriage & Family Therapist with my Masters in Addiction counseling I rely on the partnership within therapy to create a space for growth, goal achievement and peace within. This includes adolescents, couples & families, Breast Cancer survivors and clients working with schools and community systems. I have extensive experience providing therapeutic support to adolescents and adults whose behaviors are no longer benefitting them or those around them.
My work is collaborative, holistic, and strength-based. My approach to therapy is client-focused with an emphasis on including the whole system when defining the problem that may bring you to therapy. My work is individually tailored to meet the needs of the client/s.
My approach is drawn from Solution Oriented therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Survivor and Life skills with trauma focused interventions. I am an EMDR certified therapist that believes we can move through trauma to a life with happiness, balance and authenticity.
