Welcome and congratulations on taking the first step to attaining your goals. My name is Theresa Weise and I have been a mental health and AODA counselor for over 12 years. I have worked with individuals and couples ages 10-75. My counseling theory is that each person is the best expert of their life, but sometimes life disconnects us from that. That is where I can come in to assist you in reconnecting to that knowledge.
In my practice I have assisted individuals struggling with: depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBT concerns, self confidence, couples counseling and overall life satisfaction. The counseling modalities I most frequently use are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing and Client Centered. I am also certified in Equine Therapy.
I have a very relational approach and utilize mindfulness to assist in gaining peace and tapping into one’s own intuition. I do this while utilizing a inclusive lens. look forward to assisting you in making the smallest or greatest steps in your life to reach your dreams.
