As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe prioritizing mental health is optimal for healing and overall well being. Life can be challenging and will throw many obstacles along the way. I am here to help you navigate and break down potential barriers. I have been practicing for a number of years, most of my work include hospice and bereavement. Recently over the last few years I have been in private practice focusing on a wide variety of mental health challenges.
My approach to working with clients is to provide a safe and creative space to openly share experiences and feelings. When working with clients I feel it's important to help them gain understanding of the life changes they experience, build a strong foundation of coping and teach problem solving skills.
My goal as your therapist is to help you identify effective ways to cope and promote heightened self esteem. I do this by practicing my own self beliefs of focusing on meeting you or your child where they are, providing effective therapeutic techniques and help promote self empowerment.
