My name is Theresa. I am a California Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I have completed my education at California State University, Fresno in 2014. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, grief, substance abuse, anxiety, and relational issues. I have found that ensuring a safe, trusting, and collaborative environment is imperative within the journey of self-discovery to a healthy balance and to the best version of oneself. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with.
I work with young adults and adults who need additional support with some of life's challenges. As life challenges can create distress, conflict, and other issues that impact the well-being and the ability to function daily. My communication style is calm, comfortable, and supportive. Ensuring a safe and trusting environment.
My approach to goal setting with clients strives for collabroation and exploring what you want to achieve in our time together. We'll work side by side to set goals, monitor your progress, and to re-assess goals when needed.
