I offer an integrative approach to individuals and couples seeking solutions and insight into their life challenges. Client centered psychotherapy is where I begin for concerns such as anxiety and depression, post-traumatic stress, family concerns, relationship issues, difficulties with self-esteem, grief and loss, or life transition. I work with couples, individual adults, and adolescents. I am also interested in strengths, and what is working in your life, as a way to sort out how to support the growth and changes you wish to make.
Humanistic psychology and family systems are the base of much of the psychotherapy that I offer. However, I also draw from mindfulness approaches and cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as body-centered counseling and focusing.
I have a specialty working with post-traumatic stress. This may include traditional narrative talk therapy, use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or Lifespan Integration which uses guided imagery as a way of treating trauma. I also use Energy Psychology approaches for concerns related to anxiety.
