Hi. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio. I have worked extensively with adolescents and young adults who have had issues with trauma and loss in childhood. I also have much experience in working with depression, anxiety, and loss. I have a special interest in working with anyone touched by adoption, as I am an adoptee myself. It is very gratifying to see people of all ages overcome obstacles and to become the best version of themselves. I feel that one of my strengths is being able to put people at ease and being able to support them through the therapeutic process.
As I have stated above, I feel one of my greatest strengths is being able to put clients at ease and reassure them that I want to understand their issues from their point of view. A supportive, caring therapeutic relationship is necessary for growth.
I enjoy working with clients who have a sense of humor, are somewhat open-minded, not opposed to looking inward, and have the belief that none of us is perfect. I like working together with people to help them discover their positive qualities, to relinquish their self-doubt, and to work toward the person they want to become.
