Hi, my name is Theresa Matich, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (79930). I have been providing mental health services for nine years now. My approach to therapy is creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental atmosphere for Clients to share what has been troubling them most. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, substance use, interpersonal relationships, and difficulty coping.
My approach to therapy is working with Clients to be centered in the middle path and work to adopt a perspective that reduces suffering. I use CBT, DBT, solution-focused, strengths perspective, and motivational interviewing during sessions.
The environment I create with Clients is safe, empathic, and nonjudgmental. The approach I take is the Client is the expert in their life and I am present to guide them to a life that is more fulfilling.
