As a clinical social worker I've had the opportunity to work with folks who are in all stages of life. I have experience working with individuals facing struggles with: depression, anxiety, family and interpersonal conflict, grief, life transitions, self-esteem issues. I am a strong believer in helping you pinpoint problem areas in patterns of behavior through a process of self reflection. Attaining better control over your mood can feel like an impossible feat, but you have the ability to develop healthy coping strategies- through self-evaluation, skill building, and receiving acceptance and healing.
In my practice, I provide individual therapy I and enjoy working with older adolescents, adults, and the 60 and over population. My current work leans on the theoretical frameworks of: cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, client-centered, mindfulness-based, and solution focused therapies.
