I became a licensed clinical social worker in 2009 and have been privileged to work with people from various age groups, socio-economic status, cultures, ethnicities, and abilities. Adversity and loss has been one of my best teachers and has made me the therapist that I am today. I have extensive experience working with adults, children, and adolescents providing individual therapy and crisis management. I have also had over ten years of providing onsite emotional support and psychological first aid to employees during the aftermath of a traumatic event.
I have provided consulting and post incident intervention services to various organizations, including HBO, Nickelodeon, American Apparel, Los Angeles Unified School District, Department of Public Social Services, Department of Children and Family Services, local law enforcement and Los angeles County Jail.
My approach is more solution-focused and together we can work at your pace to help you feel more grounded and supported. Although I have relocated from Los Angeles to Colorado I still consider myself an Angeleno through and through.
