About
If you’ve landed here, you are no doubt considering making some changes in your life and I'm glad to see that you are exploring your options for feeling better. People I work with typically feel worried, sad, overwhelmed or stressed, or are trying to cope with grief--before, during, or after--an important loss. Feeling stuck in old ways of thinking and behaving, having problematic relationships, or feeling uncomfortable with the status quo and wanting to improve one's quality of life are common themes that bring people to my office.
I offer a compassionate, yet direct and gently challenging approach. Fostering a supportive and accepting place for people to explore change is one of my professional strengths. While I provide traditional talk therapy, I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an alternative way to address distressing and traumatic memories.
For some, therapy may seem intimidating and vulnerability can be hard. But often, feeling stuck is harder. Together, we can find the best place for you to start. If you have any questions about my professional experience or wish to explore working together, please feel free give me a call.
