Do you struggle with big feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, or disconnecting that are the result of trauma, chronic stress, or something like cancer that flipped over your world? Do you have so much held in but don't know how to feel it safely?Tired of being in protect mode or "the strong one"? I work a lot with folks who are great at being strong but maybe need a supportive space to be vulnerable- Let's work together to increase safety in your relationship to yourself & your emotions, learning how to respond to yourself with compassion and care
Trauma can teach us so much about parts of ourselves that need protection & parts that need more space to be seen, we can do both in our work together. Sometimes we will be processing the hard stuff, and sometimes we will be focused on unblocking inner resources so that the best parts of you can step forward. I use EMDR, ACT, compassion, and body integration
Being vulnerable is scary, I am dedicated to creating a space where you can truly express yourself. We will be human together. I enjoy working with folks from marginalized backgrounds & those who need creative flexible approaches. I identify as mixed race, first gen on one side, queer, & an AYA cancer survivor. If you think we're a fit please reach out!
