Being able to help others has always been a passion of mine. My educational and professional experience has allowed me to create a broad variety of specialties. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida in 2004. During my stay, I was able to work with specialty organizations that focused on equality and activism for groups such as LGBTQ+, military support, and women's rights. The following year, I was able to dive deeper into the complexities of systems theory while at Nova Southeastern University.
It was then that I began my experience working with agencies such as Women In Distress, Kids In Distress, Fort Lauderdale Psychiatric Hospital, Guardian ad Litem Program, and Project SUPERB that allowed my passion for helping others to strengthen and truly take root.
It then allowed me to have a more concentrated focus in areas of domestic & dating violence, immigration, asylum, batterers interventions, reunification, child abuse, parenting, etc. I currently utilize my skillset to help those in need while being aware of systemic factors that not only contribute to the problem, but are often effected as healing transpires
