In life we face many challenges with our emotional health. We question our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We cannot understand while moving forward seems so difficult. We start to have uncertainty with the present and the future. We begin to question if we will ever feel "normal" again. As your therapist, my goal and greatest reward includes helping my clients overcome their individual challenges, heal from trauma, and improve their overall mental health. I focus on helping clients find what "normal" really entails. This includes a confidential, safe, and trusting environment to allow clients to share their story.
I focus more on an eclectic approach and incorporate different theories and techniques based on the client's individual needs. I believe there is not one approach that fits every client. I partner with my clients to create and implement an effective treatment plan to use throughout the therapy process.
I have provided therapy to individuals and couples of all ages. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings and worked with clients suffering from a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. Additionally, I have facilitated groups in an inpatient/outpatient environment.
