Process not Perfection - Trauma Recovery.
Our brains are remarkable. They connect us to the world through our senses, and one of their most important roles is to protect us from emotional pain. When we experience trauma or ongoing stress, the brain can shift into “red alert” mode. Peace & joy may go into hiding, while vigilance takes over.
