Hi! Whether you are someone with past experience in counseling, or just beginning this process, I honor this important step you are taking toward help and healing. For over 24 years I have been helping clients navigate issues of grief and loss, adjustment and transition challenges, anxiety, and depression. In the past 7 years, my focus has expanded to clients struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and stressor-related disorders. The debilitating effects of traumatic experiences can include symptoms of high anxiety, fears and phobias, anger reactions, avoidance, depression, sleep problems, nightmares and flashbacks.

I am a certified EMDR therapist and use EMDR in much of my practice as it is proven to be highly effective. Other treatment modalities offered to clients include somatic experiencing, person-centered and strength-based approaches, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
