You’ve done everything right. Built the career, kept the relationships, stayed functional through things that would have broken other people. And somehow, you still don’t feel okay. That’s not a personal failure. That’s trauma hiding behind achievements. We’re a group of high achievers who know that experience firsthand, and went on to specialize in helping people just like us. Therapy Cove is a fully virtual trauma practice for high achievers with trauma. We help you heal it, not just manage it. We serve clients across PSYPACT states, with roots in Florida and Washington, DC.

Are you feeling stuck in the same trauma patterns, even though you’ve done everything “right”? Maybe you are constantly questioning yourself, wondering if you’re "enough," why relationships feel so hard, or why anxiety and sadness keep showing up no matter how much you achieve. Between family expectations, cultural pressure, and old traumatic wounds, it’s exhausting to keep pushing through. Maybe dating feels like déjà vu, or your relationships keep hitting the same walls. Therapy can be the space where you finally break the patterns, heal your attachment wounds, show up differently, in love and in life, and finally find peace.

Are you sick of having to explain your culture to your therapist? Therapy hasn't always been built with you in mind. Maybe you've sat across from a therapist and spent half the session explaining your culture instead of doing the work. Maybe you were taught that what happens in the family stays in the family, that struggle is private, and that being strong is the only acceptable option. I get it, because I lived it too. I grew up around intergenerational and immigration trauma, where resilience was praised and emotional needs were brushed aside. With me, you skip the explaining. We start at the work.

Are you a lawyer, healthcare worker, or highly successful professional dealing with addiction? Do you find yourself noticing a pattern you can't quite unsee anymore? The drink that used to be one and is now three. The occasional smoke or pill that's now a daily habit. The relationship strain you keep explaining away. The promises to cut back that don't hold. The distance growing between you and the people who matter most, a partner who's stopped asking, kids who've learned not to expect you fully present. You're still performing at a high level, still the person others rely on. But underneath, you feel like you are unraveling.

Do you feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells since the betrayal, unsure if you'll ever fully trust again? Are you and your partner stuck replaying the same painful conversation, unable to move forward or fully let go? Betrayal changes the rules of a relationship overnight. One or both of you may be questioning what was real, what comes next, and whether the relationship can hold the weight of what happened. You might be the one who was hurt, searching for answers that never feel like enough. Or you might be the one who caused the pain, wanting to repair but unsure how to earn back trust. This cycle is exhausting, I know.

Are you tired of feeling like you're still living in survival mode, even though you've done everything "right"? Maybe you grew up walking on eggshells in your own home. You knew exactly who was walking down the hallway just by the sound of their footsteps. You learned to read the room before you learned to understand your own feelings. And now, as an adult, you find yourself questioning whether you're enough, struggling to trust others, or feeling like you can only ever rely on yourself. Maybe your relationships feel like déjà vu, and no matter how much you achieve or how hard you try, the same patterns keep showing up.
