Hello! I am a humanist, feminist, and a multicultural practitioner. I am eager to partner with you as we tackle your current life challenges. As a clinician and an educator, I have worked with teens, adults and couples in a myriad of outpatient and inpatient, medical, and crisis behavioral health settings.
I use an integrative style in my work pulling from a psychodynamic approach and utilizing solution-focused strategies, acceptance-commitment therapies, and cognitive and dialectical behavioral skillsets. I am influenced by the therapeutic writings of Jonathon Haidt, Esther Perel, Irvin Yalom, Mihaly Csikszentmihaly and Tara Brach.
My background in the arts has shaped my perspective on the values of persistence, tenacity, beauty and kindness. As we work together, I commit to providing a safe space to share experiences, process issues, and collaborate on solutions.
