Therapy Brooklyn is a group practice made up of BIPOC clinicians, We work with individuals, couples and families. Our work with families focuses on communication issues, transitions (i.e. divorce, arrival of a new sibling), self esteem, difficulty regulating emotions and behavioral issues at home and at school. We specialize in adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Couples work focuses on lack of communication, loss of connection, infidelity and intimacy issues.
Our approach is integrative and blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, relational and insight oriented therapy. Our work is relational, goal directed and future oriented. We create a warm, empathic and supportive environment where clients' strengths are used to foster hope and motivation toward achieving goals.
We offer both short term and long term therapy. We have therapists with a wide range of availability and offer in network Blue Cross Blue Cross, support with out of network reimbursement and an internship program that offers sliding scale spots.
