I have worked in the fields of mental health and addiction for over 23 years with individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma, addiction, stress management and overall lack of satisfaction in life. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you have the opportunity to engage in self-exploration and resolve some of the obstacles preventing you from achieving complete balance in your life.
I empower individuals to overcome life's challenges to improve their quality of life using evidence based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to name a few. I am a licensed clinical social worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Clinician who assists, inspires and supports people achieve optimal state of well-being.
I believe that my two main strengths are first, my ability to understand the problems and needs of people under my care. Secondly, my experience, which allows me to assess, recommend and develop strategies that will improve the quality of my clients' lives.
