My name is Theo Meyer and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), seeing clients across the state of New Hampshire Via Telehealth. I view the therapeutic process as similar to climbing a mountain, where sometimes it helps to have a guide to make the journey feel less overwhelming. When I am not in session, I enjoying cooking for friends and family, going on long hikes and walking my Yellow Lab, Goldie.
My communication style is warm, affirming and non-judgmental. I aim to meet you where you are understanding you are doing the best you can in any given moment. I understand changing our behaviors and attitudes can be scary and any conversations around change will be done at your pace.
My approach to goals is collaborative and centered around your needs. Based on your needs we will collaborate on a road map of skills and actions steps to help you achieve those goals. I understand that goals may change as we are in therapy and I am happy to change course as needed.
