About
I have been working in the mental health and addictions field for nine years and have worked with individuals with trauma, adverse life experiences and the shame these kinds of experiences can have on their day to day experience. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) and have a Masters Addiction Certificate (MAC) and National Cert. for Adolescent Addiction Counselor (NCAAC). My goal in therapy is to encourage and challenge individuals to become the best they desire to be.
My specialty is believing every client has done the best they know how. This allows me to create an open space to allow clients to process their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. I create a safe space where clients can own and process their own truths. Which is what I think makes therapy powerful.
