For fifty years, The Women’s Center has provided trauma informed, culturally appropriate mental health counseling services to women, men, families, teens, young adults, and children. We have over 50 clinicians that provide kind, caring and effective care both in person and online and we offer evening and Saturday appointments to meet scheduling challenges. We accept all major insurances and offer reduced fee/sliding scale. We ensure cost is never a barrier to receiving care.
We have Professional Counsellors, Clinical Social Workers and Clinical Psychologists on staff to treat a wide range of mental health concerns. We now serve over 5,000 people annually at our two newly renovated locations in Virginia and Washington, DC.
The Women’s Center will continue to be synonymous with mental well-being, and all members of the community–regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or economic status–can turn to The Center for counseling support when facing life’s challenges and transitions or are seeking personal or professional development.
