Black and Brown men have been taught and held accountable to be strong and to never complain leaving them unable to feel comfortable feeling overwhelmed or understanding of their emotions. At The Weight Room, we will spot you by helping you learn how to carry and lift the weight of life in a healthy way or we help you learn how to put it down and leave it for good. We provide a safe, culturally aware and responsive environment for you to get the support you need. A space where your cultural identity is not an issue
We support Black and Brown males from adolescents to senior figure out how to thrive in a healthy way without sacrificing their cultural identify. We specialize in the creating coping skills and interventions that are comfortable and successful when it comes to providing treatment to those who identify with the African (Afro/Bi-racial/Multi) culture.
We are highly dedicated to assisting you in helping you cope with everyday life struggles in a specialized space designed for you! Everyone may seem to not understand; but we do over here.
