I work with couples and families who are struggling in many different areas which include recovery from affairs, pre-marital counseling, communication issues, financial problems, intimacy concerns, parental issues, and many other areas. As a member of the military for 17+ years, military and veterans are a specialty for my practice.
With individuals, I approach therapy from a primarily Cognitive-Beahvor Therapy (CBT) approach; with couples and families, I use the Gottman Method and Family Systems. For trauma and PTSD clients I use CBT and EMDR.
I provide a safe environment with a transparent therapeutic method where the client and therapist work together. I bring to bear 17 years of military experience, 10 years of therapeutic experience in the civilian world, and training in multiple areas to create the best individualized treatment possible.
