If you are also AuDHD/ADHD, then it becomes more complex. You might feel hurt for no apparent reason, you second-guess yourself, feel guilt and shame, and may punish yourself. If “who you are” is not taken into account in therapy, trauma treatment is not enough. You need to understand yourself within the context of society and learn to navigate that, safely.
