The Grief Center offers an innovative approach to address Northeast Oklahoma’s need for comprehensive, long-term grief counseling to assist the bereaved as they journey towards improved health and renewed sense of worth in the wake of loss. The Board of Directors, professional staff and volunteers are committed to providing meaningful programs based on well-documented needs and ongoing measurement.
The Grief Center touches the lives of thousands each year by offering a wide variety of support opportunities for grieving children and adults including individual and group counseling, special events, memorial opportunities, and grief education. The Grief Center also offers training and educational sessions for local businesses.
Our mission is to create a caring community where grieving families know they are not alone; to provide a safe place to grieve the death and celebrate the life of loved ones; and to provide professionally facilitated support groups, individual counseling and special programs for grieving children, teens and adults.
