I offer a client-focused, supportive, and unbiased counseling environment for both youths and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, grief, and trauma. I strive to be compassionate, empathetic, actively listening, and present, guiding my clients through their personal transformational journey. My goal is to help each client regain control of their life, promote resilience, balance, and coping skills, and achieve fulfillment. A therapeutic alliance is fundamental in helping the client move forward.
My devoted area of interest is trauma-informed care and applying multiple interventions based on dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy (NT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), trauma-focused acceptance, and commitment therapy.
I am Hispanic, bilingual, and bicultural. As a parent, husband, and immigrant, I understand the challenges related to raising children, maintaining work-life balance, and many other struggles associated with acculturation and multiculturalism. I enjoy traveling, exercising, spending time with my family, and cultivating my spirituality.
