About
The Transgender Institute(r), located in the heart of the Midwest in Kansas City, Missouri, and serving the transgender community for 20 years, is a comprehensive gender therapy and coaching practice, unlike any other, dedicated to serving the transgender population. We offer inumerous services including n-office consultation, coaching and therapy sessions, as well as telehealth sessions. At The Transgender Institute, we help you determine if transitioning is an appropriate course of action and assist you through the various stages of the transition process.
The Transgender Institute is a collaborative center that with its partners provides a full spectrum of psychotherapeutic, psychiatric, medical, surgical, endocrine, and aesthetic care for the transgender person and family. We provide letters of referral for hormone therapy and surgery.
My chief asset, apart from my clinical skill, is my ability to be accepting and tolerant of all individuals, regardless of where they find themselves in life, and whatever emotional/psychological burdens they may be carrying. I do not shy away from anyone or any issue, and carry no fear or judgement into my work.

The group provides guest speakers, pertinent topics and open discussion to provide support for the trans woman. This free group draws approximately 20 women twice a month.
