At The Sexuality, Attachment, and Trauma Project, we provide identity-affirming care for all communities. Our patients are people, not problems, and we work with each person differently. We treat a range of issues related to sexuality and gender. These include out-of-control sexual behavior, sometimes labeled sex addiction (although we’re not fans of labels). Patients also come to us for intimacy anxiety, sexual compulsivity, gender and orientation confusion, LGBTQ+ issues, and family trauma.
Treatment isn’t just about what you do but who you are. Experience has taught us there are many different methods that may be beneficial to our clients. For this reason we take an integrated approach, combining psychodynamic principles with evidence-based techniques shown to be effective in working with out-of-control sexual behavior.
If you struggle with your sexual behavior or need help navigating questions around gender and sexuality, we’re here to help. We’re not here to judge or label you. And we’re definitely not afraid to talk about those awkward topics. We’ll work together to identify old patterns that no longer serve you. And we'll help you write a new story about yourself.

We are a team of attachment focused, psychodynamic therapists. When you work with us, our main concern is helping you feel comfortable enough to tell us what is going on. Nothing you have to say will surprise or shock us. In addition to treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, each team member has a different subspecialty, such as kink & BDSM, coping with transphobia, or poly-relationships.
