I work with clients who are in recovery from addiction. I help them get to the root of their addictive issue, so they can stop substituting addictive behavior and heal.
I have long term recovery experience myself, sober since 2007. I have worked in addiction medicine since 2013. I use Brainspotting, which is a brain based therapy for healing trauma.
My intention is to treat all of my clients with gentleness, humor, love, and respect. Together we can create a safe space to explore the underlying issues of the addictive process. It says in the Big Book that "the drinking is but a symptom of a much larger issue." I believe that's right, and therapy can help!
