If you’ve made it this far, you’ve already taken a courageous step. Therapy can be a place to understand the past in ways that open new possibilities for the future. Many of us find ourselves repeating old patterns — in relationships, feelings, or self-defeating behaviors — without fully realizing why. These “symptoms” are not random. They are messages from within, signals that something in us is asking for attention, healing, and care.In therapy, we often discover that overwhelming experiences from earlier in life had to be pushed aside or “split off” in order to survive.
Though hidden, those parts remain alive within us, shaping our present. In the safety of a therapeutic relationship, these untold stories can be brought into the light. When they are understood and integrated, the the energy they once held in the past is released into 'the now'. This makes room for us to feel more whole, more embodied, and more alive.
I view my role as both collaborator and guide. My intention is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space grounded in empathy, reflection, and curiosity. Together, we explore what has been fragmented, support its reintegration, and open the door to living with greater vitality and possibility — not someday in the future, but right here, in the present moment.
