About
Hello, my name is Steven Cohn. With the onset of Covid 19 I am currently conducting all of my couples sessions via teleconferencing. I meet with couples who live throughout the State of Oregon. My clients are reporting that our online sessions feel just as meaningful and productive as our in-office sessions. If love, intimacy, and passion has faded from your relationship, then I'm here to help. Poor communications, financial problems, low sexual desire, blending a family, child rearing, an affair, in-laws, and/or health concerns can slowly erode relationship vitality in even the most loving unions.
I am a Relationship Specialist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and the founder of The Portland Couples Counseling Center. As a Relationship Specialist I only work with couples and have facilitated more than 15,000 hours of marriage, relationship, and sex counseling. I have appeared on radio, CNBC.com, KOIN 6 TV, and KATU 2 TV.
I have extensive experience working with couples from all backgrounds. I have completed both Masters and PhD Level training in Relationship and Sex Counseling and Post-Doctoral training with Drs. John and Julie Schwartz Gottman of the internationally-acclaimed Gottman Institute; and, Dr. David Schnarch, author of Intimacy and Desire and Passionate Marriage.
