My passion is seeing people find solutions to their questions. Sometimes the problems of life deplete our resources. Therapy offers opportunities to view our problem from a different perspective gaining insight and ability to solve the problem. I enjoy all ages and backgrounds. I have been involved with prison/homeless/substance abuse/parenting and many more backgrounds. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you helping you gain strength to move forward. Clients often want to develop themselves in certain areas. Many clients are successful in learning to manage stress, anxiety, guilt and depressive feelings. I offer a unique blend of therapy that involves writing, listening and talking helping you to have a better understanding of how to apply the information given.
A variety of issues are related to the elderly. Some of those are depression and suicidal thoughts, conflicts with adult children and at times abuse. Counseling gives an opportunity for these issues to be resolved and optimistic outlook may be achieved.

Groups
Anger Management
Anger Management group designed for older adolescents and adults to learn skills to problem solve and understand anger. This class gives the tools to control anger and begin to understand the root of anger. I provide individual therapy for anger issues if classes are not available. Topics include depression, self-esteem, abandonment and anger triggers/stressors are covered. Men, women, adolescents often state they did not know they had anger but now they have the tools to diffuse these feelings and make positive healthy choices.
