Growing up and not learning how to regulate your emotions may cause misery and suffering. c We offer group, DBT and holistic therapy, 3 days a week, 3 hours a day of DBT group therapy online or in person, for 7.5 weeks (24 sessions). Located in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Maryville, Tri-Cities, Cool Spring & Charleston, SC. Our holistic program provides the Four Core Skills of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. "DBT" is an evidenced based treatment that teaches step by step to reduce impulsivity and reactivity. Our groups take place in a "Spa like", home environment. Clients may self-refer: themiddlepath.life Starting at age 6 to adult.
DBT Therapy teaches how to be balanced and effective in your life. Mindfulness is the key. Are you worried and focused on fear of the future. Do you worry, what "might" happen? Do you ruminate over the past of what "should have been" or "if only". DBT will help. By participating in a safe group setting, it is comforting to be with others who understand.
Our holistic component allows you to experience Equine Therapy, Art Therapy, Yoga, music/drumming therapy, movement therapy, horticulture, Emotional Freedom Technique, Meditation, Blue Health Therapy on the lake or ocean. We offer family/friends education. Therapists offer a 1 hour, weekly aftercare program to provide community and support for a year.

M, T, Th from 430-730pm (Knox) 3:30-6:30pm (Chattanooga) We are the only IOP to offer DBT treatment in Knoxville to Pre-teens & teens with a holistic approach. Meditation, Yoga, Emotional Freedom Technique, art therapy, horticulture therapy, experiential therapy and 3 hours of Equine therapy is included! The IOP has a maximum of 8 teens with a therapist and assistant. We offer Parent education as part of the program. Please call to set up a free tour.

The Middle Path is offering a 60 hour Virtual group for 9 hours a week for 6.5 weeks. Often times there are frustrating barriers that limit you from attending group in person. Maybe you live more than an hour away from our programs? Maybe your work hours do not fit our group time? Maybe it is psychologically or physically too difficult to attend IOP.
