Female Trauma Survivors Group-online-Sept. 18
Emerging Butterflies is a virtual process group for 8 to 10 female survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and/or sexual assault that meets on Fridays at 1:00 pm for four months. Using the mindfulness tools of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and the distress tolerance skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emerging Butterflies helps participants build inner strength and resources. These skills are highly effective for trauma survivors because they provide tools to manage intense emotions, reduce dissociation, and regain control over the body and mind.
