My passion is in helping people navigate their complex lives by providing counseling to individuals, families and conducting group counseling for ages six and above. My creative and non-traditional approach to therapy is used to address issues that impact the individual and the family system. I look forward to meeting and helping you traverse the waters of life and become healthier through the process.
When working with children I utilize play therapy. Play therapy allows a child to communicate their thoughts and feelings through the use of toys and other creative means. For those who have matured beyond childhood, I am EMDR trained, Certified in Telehealth and Virtual Reality therapy and use other creative methods to guide your therapeutic process.
I believe in the power of play. Through play therapy children can learn new skills and more adaptive behaviors. In addition to play therapy, I use various forms of creative therapeutic methods when working with adolescents and adults. I see each person as unique and I utilize treatment options accordingly.
