Accepting new clients. I'm a Christian counselor and my specialty is working with women who have survived childhood trauma and/ or intimate partner abuse. Those ready to live with more choice through clearing trauma, working through grief, forgiveness, anger, and shame. These often present as different or varying forms of depression and anxiety. Multi-modal treatments including EMDR, Lifespan Integration, and CBT. I have taught groups on healthy relationships, practicing boundaries, and assertiveness skills. I also have a particular interest in how nutrition, sleep, and rhythms of how we care for ourselves impacts mental health.
I specialize in trauma recovery. None of us have been exempt from the effects of trauma. My desire is to bring people to health and wholeness through the counseling process.
I am a trained Lifespan Integration (LI) Therapist and currently in training for EMDR training. These have been shown to bring relief and open up your choices in daily living. We will use a mixture of modalities to reach your goals while reclaiming your story and overturning maladaptive thinking.
