The Inner Stage is an innovative group practice that incorporates cutting-edge experiential therapies customized for the diverse needs of clients of all backgrounds and identities. Creator Valerie Simon, LCSW, TEP, CET III, has been an experiential therapist for almost 30 years and specializes in trauma resolution through IFS and psychodrama. All TIS practitioners have training in IFS plus other experiential modalities.
Valerie facilitates Play Your Parts groups, intensives and trainings, with her hybrid approach of IFS and Psychodrama. Ali Bennett is a marriage and family therapist who is trained in IFS. Jessica Welker, MHC specializes in working with trauma and LGBTQIA+ folks. She utilizes IFS, DBT and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
We are very skilled at creating a warm and comfortable space for people who are on a quest for self-actualization. We creatively guide people to explore relationship patterns, heal trauma that gets stored in the body, and release any emotional blocks. We can find the right therapist for your needs and budget.
