My Journey to Therapy:
Growing up in Ghana, mental health was never discussed, and talk therapy did not exist in my culture. My fascination with the power of speech and healing began during my college years in America. Since then, I have made it my mission to bring talk therapy to the forefront of my community and beyond. I work across a diverse range of needs, helping people navigate deep-seated challenges and find lasting relief. My background includes Adults managing serious mental illnesses, Children processing family trauma and abandonment, Individuals and Families navigating complex life transitions, Couples and Groups.
I use an integrative approach to assess your challenges and build on your strengths. Among my specialties is utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to treat ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Gender Identity Problems, relationship problems, divorce and codependency problems.

This Group meets once a week on thursdays at 5PM virtually. In my past work I managed adults and seniors who suffer from Chronic illnesses with multiple comorbidities. This group is to help those who are experiencing difficulties with life changes and transitioning into living with chronic illnesses cope.
