I am an African-American clinician whose work is deeply rooted in serving Black and Brown communities, as well as individuals who live in close proximity to or are shaped by these cultural realities. I approach therapy with the understanding that our psychological wounds are not created in a vacuum. Historical trauma, systemic oppression, cultural expectations, masculinity norms, faith traditions, and survival strategies all shape how distress shows up in our lives. These factors make our experiences meaningfully different from those of the general population—and they deserve to be understood as such.
My clinical focus includes men, families, couples, and relational systems. My research centers on trauma and its impact on identity, behavior, relationships, and self-worth. I use an integrative approach that combines EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused therapies to help clients heal, grow, and create meaningful change.
I aim to challenge you across various aspects of yourself while also continuously monitoring your mental health through clinical assessment. Feelings Brother IOP
The Feelings Brother Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured, short-term treatment program that provides more support than traditional weekly therapy but does not require overnight hospitalization. Clients typically attend several sessions per week for a few hours per day, where they participate in services such as group therapy, individual therapy, psychoeducation, and skills training. IOPs are designed for individuals who need a higher level of care to stabilize symptoms, prevent hospitalization, or step down from inpatient or partial hospitalization programs while still maintaining daily responsibilities like work, school, or family life.
