Welcome to "The Dreaming Tree" Counseling Center. My name is Mike Skoda, and the concept came to me from my love of Dave Matthews Band and their lesser known DMB song, "The Dreaming Tree." Fast forward and now we have a family owned and operated and family-friendly practice in beautiful, Broadview Heights, OH. Our mission is to help folks restore their roots and foundations in order to reclaim your dreams and legacies. In short, we help nourish "The Dreaming Tree" of your life, whether it be a relationship, a family, a school, or just some awesome dreams of your own! We help you learn to dream again and live out your wildest dreams!
At "The Dreaming Tree" our staff embody a sense of humor, honesty, genuineness caring and integrity. Our staff are highly trained and experts in Eye Movement Densitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman-Method Couples and Marriage Counseling. "The Dreaming Tree" is locally owned by the Skoda family who live in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights area.
At "The Dreaming Tree", you can expect to be treated like family, with dignity, caring, and respect at this locally owned and client-centered family business. We also offer a great Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work group workshop tailored for couples in preparation for marriage as well as those who need a light refresher on some great Gottman skills.
