Hello, I'm Colleen Slowey-Morelli LICSW, the founder of The Cairn Center for EMDR. I'm an EMDRIA certified therapist and Consultant with advanced training in attachment, complicated loss, ego state and somatic interventions. Are you feeling a disconnect from your body, from your family or friends, or from your sense of self? This is often a trauma response. Traumatic memories become stuck in the body, leading to disconnection in many forms, including: panic, anxiety, depression, flash anger, insomnia, and dissociation. I offer a warm, safe, tuned in presence, using science backed interventions, to help you on your path of healing.
The most effective therapy comes from building a trusting relationship where you can feel unconditionally supported. Along with clinical expertise, I bring warmth and humor to my work. I specialize in CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder), and also offer EMDR Intensives for the processing of Big T traumas and complicated grief.
