Our mission at the Athlete's Resource is to support athletes in the challenges they face throughout their career. For athletes recovering from sport injury, we collaborate with outside providers (i.e., physical therapists, athletic trainers, etc.) to support and guide athletes through emotional and behavioral aspects of their recovery. We teach athletes skills to increase motivation, concentration, and confidence to optimize their mindset for play. For athletes transitioning out of sport we provide education on what athletes can expect, coping strategies, and a space to process the losses associated with this transition.
Our style of treatment is goal-directed and evidence-based. We tailor our approach to an athlete's presenting problem. Treatment will consist of examining your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how they relate to your past/current efforts to recover from sport injury, optimize mindset for sport, and/or transition out of sport.
Please feel free to reach out via phone or email. We are eager to help athletes reach their goals and potential.
