About
We are a dynamic group practice of art therapists who are highly experienced, nationally registered, board-certified, and licensed by New York State. Located in Gramercy and also available online, we provide individualized art therapy sessions for children, adolescents and adults facing psychosocial challenges in their everyday lives. Our art therapists and clients work together in a supportive environment to find ways to creatively cope with current life stressors and co-create a treatment plan to address each client's unique concerns.
Art therapy often involves building an "emotional toolbox" using metaphor or art media to assess what's working in our clients' lives and what no longer serves them. We incorporate yoga therapy, mindfulness, MBSR, DBT, REBT, and Gestalt techniques into our practice to supplement traditional art psychotherapy approaches when clinically appropriate.
Whether you are drawn to more holistic approaches or sensory-based models, you will have the opportunity to choose a therapeutic approach and art therapist that best suits your needs. When contacting us, you'll speak directly with our program manager, an experienced clinician who will help match you with the therapist that best fits what you're seeking.
